States Works is proud to hold the ISO 9001:2015 which is an internationally recognised accrediation in relation to quality management.  This demonstrates our committment to following good practice whilst continually striving to improve and please our customers.

Our policy statement is:

States Works is committed to maintaining good practice in all its business activities, by adhering to the standards of a Quality Management System.  This to meet our mission of being 'a community focussed provider of essential and infrastructure services, operating for the long-term benefit of the island'.  This is achieved by;

  1. Providing a high quality customer experience.
  2. Delivering against our Business Plan committments.
  3. Improving our Quality Management System by setting management objectives and targets for improvement.
  4. Adhering to statutory requirements.
  5. Ensuring all employees have access to a documented version of this statement and understand it, and making it available to any interested party.
  6. Demonstrating a committment to all staff by encouraging personal development and improvement.

Each year, the business is subject to a surveillance check from an Auditor who reviews and assesses our progress in maintaining the required standard.  Every third year, we are subject to a full re-accreditation audit where non-conformities, observations and opportunities for improvements are discussed.
