The cesspit empyting service operates from Griffiths Yard with a fleet of over 30 tankers. Through a service level agreement with Guernsey Water, States Works removes sewage from over 5,500 commercial and private properties across the Island. These specialist tankers are operated by a team of Driver / Plant Operators who start work early in the morning and work hard throughout the week, often at weekends and bank holidays, to make sure customer demand is met. Our expert team often have to navigate small lanes and tricky driveways in order to undertake collections.
